Eight congregations meet at St John’s each Sunday. We meet in one of four languages: English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Persian (Farsi).

English congregations

8:00am
Cathedral

A traditional Anglican Prayer Book Communion Service held in the Cathedral. It is a quiet and reflective service which makes use of the superb St John’s pipe organ. Join us afterwards for refreshments served in the Education Centre.

9.30am
Cathedral

Family service with a mix of contemporary and traditional singing. Children join their parents for the start of the service, then leave for Kids’ Church after the kids’ talk. Stay for refreshments served outside in the courtyard.

Kid’s Church and Engage Youth meet during this service.

9.30am Engage
RJ Room

Engage is our youth congregation for those in school years 6 to 12. Held in the Richard Johnson Room during school terms, we enjoy singing, Bible teaching and small groups.

11.00am
Cathedral

A service for people of all ages including many young workers and university students. The service is a mix of contemporary and traditional singing. We then head to Westfields for lunch afterwards.

Kid’s Church meets during this service.

5:00pm
Cathedral

Contemporary service for people of all ages including many young workers, university students, and residents of Parramatta. Stay for refreshments afterwards.

Persian congregation

9.30am
Marsden Hall

A family Farsi language service held in the Marsden Hall. Children and youth have the opportunity to attend English age-appropriate kid’s programs.

Kid’s Church and Engage Youth meet during this service.
