Due to current government restrictions on public gatherings, some Sunday service activities have been modified. Please see “Planning Your Visit” for the most up to date information on COVID compliance.
Ten congregations meet at St John’s each Sunday. We meet in one of four languages: English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Persian (Farsi).
A traditional Anglican Prayer Book Communion Service held in the Cathedral. It is a quiet and reflective service which makes use of the superb St John’s pipe organ. Join us afterwards for refreshments served in the Education Centre.
Family service with a mix of contemporary and traditional singing. Children join their parents for the start of the service, then leave for Kids’ Church after the kids’ talk. Stay for refreshments served outside in the courtyard.
Engage is our youth congregation for those in school years 6 to 12. Held in the Richard Johnson Room during school terms, we enjoy singing, Bible teaching and small groups.
A service for people of all ages including many young workers and university students. The service is a mix of contemporary and traditional singing. We then head to Westfields for lunch afterwards.
Contemporary service for people of all ages including many young workers, university students, and residents of Parramatta. Stay for refreshments afterwards.
A family Farsi language service held in the Marsden Hall. Children and youth have the opportunity to attend English age-appropriate kid’s programs.
Our Farsi language service is held in the Marsden Hall and has its own music and character.
