Last week St John’s officially became a COVID Safe registered business. We would like to thank Maryanne Golding, the Wardens and Parish Council for the huge amount of work they have put into creating the COVID Safety Plan and the registering St John’s with NSW Health.
Please remember that, at this stage, groups will only be approved to meet onsite if there are no off-site or online options. The Cathedral Office will continue to remain closed. Our main concern is your health and limiting the opportunities for community transmission of the virus.
Our Safety Plan states that all those entering the premises must read the Conditions of Entry carefully and comply with all safety instructions.
You must not attend any events at the Cathedral if:
- you have any flu-like symptoms (ie, sore-throat, fever, runny nose, headaches) and/or are feeling unwell
- have been overseas in the last fortnight
- have been in contact with a person who is COVID positive or waiting on results
- or have been in any government identified “hot-spot” areas in the last fortnight.
When visiting St John’s you will be asked to check-in, use hand sanitiser (provided), and have your temperature checked. Our check-in system is contactless, but will require you to scan a QR code with your smart phone camera to complete a check-in form. If you have an older phone, you may need to download an app to scan the QR code.
All the above information will be sent to you when you are invited to a meeting at the Cathedral. Your group leader will be able to assist you.
