I hope you’ve been enjoying our advent series, “Jesus for the World”. It’s been encouraging to be reminded that the gospel was always God’s great plan to build a kingdom made out of every nation on earth. This week Bruce will be sharing with us from Ruth and the genealogy at the beginning of Matthew as we see more of God’s remarkable design in bringing this multi-national gospel into being.
One of the ways we express the truth of this global gospel is by our commitment to global mission. Every week of Advent we’ll be highlighting one of our many mission partners. Did you know that we support over 15 different individuals and organisations ranging from churches and Bible colleges here in Sydney through to mission going on in remote Australia and reaching out to missionary work in Indonesia, France and the UK?!
You might also not be aware that you can access prayer letters from all of these individuals and organisations on Elvanto, our church database – another great reason to make sure that you have an account.
Want to get in contact with a missionary or organisation that we support? Just get their prayer letter and go from there.
Jesus really is for the whole world! He has brought us together from the whole world at St John’s and also sends us out again into the whole world.
